The H14 Threaded Lift Check Valve is a compact and highly reliable solution designed to prevent back flow in small-diameter piping systems. Combining durable construction with an efficient internal design, it is the ideal choice for residential, commercial, and light industrial fluid control applications.
Durable & Corrosion-Resistant Materials
Built to withstand harsh operating environments, the H14 check valve is available in premium materials including Stainless Steel (SS201/304).This ensures excellent resistance to rust, corrosion, and high temperatures, making it suitable for water, steam, oil, and certain corrosive chemical media.
Efficient Lift-Type Mechanism
Featuring a classic Lift Check Valve design, the H14 utilizes the kinetic energy of the fluid to automatically open and gravity to close. This ensures a tight seal against backflow without the need for external power or manual operation, effectively protecting pumps and compressors from water hammer and reverse flow damage.
Easy Installation with Threaded Ends
Engineered for convenience, the H14 model comes with standard Internal Threaded (NPT, BSP, or G threads) connections. This allows for quick, secure, and leak-proof installation on small-bore pipelines (typically DN15 to DN50 / 1/2" to 2"), significantly reducing labor time and installation costs.
Reliable Sealing & Low Maintenance
The internal components are precision-machined to ensure a leak-tight shut-off. With a simple yet robust structure, the H14 valve requires minimal maintenance. Its compact footprint makes it perfect for tight spaces where larger swing check valves cannot fit.
Versatile Industrial Applications
The H14 threaded check valve is widely used across various sectors, including:
HVAC & Plumbing Systems: Preventing back flow in heating and water supply lines.
Industrial Fluid Control: Protecting sensitive instrumentation and small pumps.
Oil & Gas: Managing unidirectional flow in fuel and lubrication lines.
Chemical Processing: Handling compatible corrosive fluids safely.

Installation Guidelines for Check Valves
To ensure optimal performance and prevent system damage, please strictly follow these installation guidelines:
Check the Flow Direction
This is the most critical step. Always check the arrow indicator on the valve body. The arrow must point in the same direction as the fluid flow. Installing the valve backward will completely block the pipeline and may cause severe damage to the pump or the valve itself.
Install in the Correct Position
Different types of check valves have specific position requirements:
Lift Check Valves (e.g., H14 model): The valve disc closes by gravity. Therefore, it must be installed on horizontal pipelines. If you need to install it on a vertical pipe, the flow must be strictly upward (bottom to top).
Swing Check Valves: These must be installed on horizontal pipelines to ensure the disc can swing freely and seal properly.
Clean the Pipeline
Before installation, make sure to clean the pipeline thoroughly. Remove any debris, welding slag, dirt, or gravel. Foreign particles trapped between the valve disc and the seat can prevent the valve from closing tightly, leading to internal leakage.
Proper Connection & Sealing
Threaded Valves: When screwing in threaded check valves (like the H14), wrap the male threads with proper sealing tape (Teflon tape) or apply pipe dope. Do not over tighten, as this could crack the valve body or fittings.
Flanged Valves: Ensure the gaskets are centered and tighten the bolts evenly in a diagonal (star) pattern to prevent uneven stress and leaks.
Maintain Straight Pipe Runs
For the best performance, it is recommended to have a straight section of pipe (at least 5 to 10 times the pipe diameter) before the valve inlet. This ensures a stable, non-turbulent flow, allowing the valve to open and close smoothly.
Regular Inspection
After installation, regularly inspect the valve and the pipeline connections for any signs of leakage. If the valve starts making loud noises (water hammer), consider installing a shock absorber or checking if the closing speed needs adjustment.
